Bahia Concepcion
Concepcion Bay in the municipality of Mulege, is considered by many as the most beautiful bay in the state of Baja California Sur, Mexico .
In it the bay are different beaches, each with something interesting to offer. The Beach " Santispac " is surrounded by mangroves swamps and the portion of surrounding mountains has cave paintings stored in an area known as "El Tordillo”, after walking 3 kilometers inside. Another famous beach is " El requeson" which displays a white rocky hill that with a high tide it becomes an island . Also noted for their beauty beaches " Concepcion ", "Los Cocos", "El Burro", "The Buenaventura" and "Armenta Beach".
Anyone who visit this bay is captivated by the contrast between its white beaches, by the calm of the clear water and the hardness of the mountains. All it makes Bahia Concepcion a small earthly paradise. The nights are quiet and enjoy the sound of the surf and the eventual bustle of some birds that inhabit the area, such as pelicans, gulls, frigate birds, crows and herons.
The activities undertaken in some of its beaches are varied: you can practice swimming, skiing, sailing, diving, fishing, snorkeling, windsurfing, surfing, paddling and camping. Or if you prefer, you can hike and observe the mangroves and the Sierra de la Giganta, or take a trip to the cave paintings.

To get to Concepción Bay, off the town of Mulege, take the road transpeninsular southbound and just over 32 kilometers you find the entrance to the bay, which is located less than 200 meters from the road.
